The Blend

We have built this mixture on a foundation as reliable as Mr. Pump himself. A democratic coalition of Black Cavendish and Nutty Burley ensures a cool, bite-free smoke that even a donkey cart driver could appreciate. To this, we have added a dash of Bright Virginia, providing a flash of wit and natural sweetness amidst the earthy calm.

The Topping But a pub without spirits is just a room, and a blend without character is just dried leaves. We have topped this mixture with a very light essence of The Old Ship:

• Spiced Rum: For the warmth of the tavern.

• Dark Molasses: For a sweetness as deep and thick as history.
